LAW BALL
When the semester starts to feel a little too real, Law Ball is the QUT Law Society’s reminder that law school still knows how to put on a good night.
Each year, Law Ball brings QUT law students together for an evening of celebration, good company, and a well-earned break from assignments and deadlines. It’s a chance to dress up, step out, and enjoy one of the Society’s most anticipated events, complete with food, drinks, entertainment, and plenty of moments worth remembering.
Whether it’s your first Law Ball or your last, it’s the kind of night people talk about long after the music stops.

LAW DINNER
The QUT Law Society Law Dinner is an annual formal event dedicated to recognising the achievements, contributions, and commitment of members of the QUT Law Society and the broader law student community.
Held at a prestigious venue each year, the Law Dinner brings students, staff, and invited guests together for a formal sit-down evening. The event typically features guest speakers, reflections on the year that was, and the presentation of awards acknowledging outstanding academic, leadership, and community contributions within the QUT Law cohort.
More than just a dinner, the event is an opportunity to celebrate excellence, reflect on shared achievements, and recognise the people who help shape the QUT Law community throughout the year.

LETSGETREKT
When the last exam is handed in and the semester is finally behind you, LETSGETREKT is the QUT Law Society’s way of marking the moment.
Held on the final day of exams in both Semester 1 and Semester 2, LETSGETREKT brings QUT law students together to swap stress for celebration. It’s a chance to relax, have a drink, and enjoy a well-earned night out with friends after weeks of deadlines, revision, and exam rooms.
Whether you’re celebrating surviving the semester or simply ready to switch off, LETSGETREKT is all about closing the books and starting the break on a high note.
