The QUT Law Society warmly invites you to join us for our 2026 Reconciliation Breakfast, now taking place on Friday, 16 October at Stamford Plaza Brisbane.
The breakfast will bring together Indigenous Australian and non-Indigenous students, legal professionals, QUT representatives and members of the broader community to celebrate Indigenous leadership, build connections and reflect on how we can meaningfully contribute to Reconciliation through the legal profession.
We are delighted to welcome our keynote speaker, Jenni Walke, a proud Bundjalung woman and the Founder and Managing Director of Elephant in the Room Consulting, a wholly Indigenous-owned consulting and coaching company. With more than 25 years of experience in leadership and strategy, Jenni supports organisations to have braver conversations, strengthen their capabilities and create meaningful change.
Jenni will deliver a keynote address and facilitate a session exploring our “Sphere of Influence” and Reconciliation. Facilitated table yarns will provide an opportunity to share perspectives and consider how we can turn reflection into action.
Breakfast, tea and coffee will be provided. Attendance is free and open to both QUTLS members and non-members.
QUTLS gratefully acknowledges the generous support of McCullough Robertson, Ashurst Perkins Coie and Mallesons in making this event possible.
