Law School mad students want 24hrs for 24hr exam.

With exams looming, a bunch of sorry souls have awoken to find the LOL304 (Comedic Remedies) exam had been moved to an earlier date in the central examination period. The assessment now clashes with the LLB301 (“No, that’s my house!” Studies) exam. With one commencing on the 17th of June at 5.30pm, and the next at 1.30pm the next day, they overlap by 4 hours, and madness has ensued.

We spoke to one of the forgotten bunch that happen to do both units this sem. He provided to us this insight: “Frankly, I don’t care if I should be able to do it in 2hrs and 40 minutes, I can barely finish a multiple choice quiz these days without zoning the f*ck out!”

Similar sentiments have been expressed across several platforms, with Discussion Boards, of all things, erupting with outrage. Students have apparently been rallying the troops in an effort to overturn the decision to change the exam’s timetabling. Behaviour which has since been called out by the higher ups in the Faculty. At least someone’s using the Blackboard feature.

According to an inside source, or an email sent by the Head of the Law School to both unit cohorts, we actually signed up to do exams in whatever time the Law School prescribes. Which is essentially a ‘no takesies backsies’ type situation that I personally see myself unable to argue with.

Some say they’re just trying to make us forget that both units just had assignments due on the same night.

Some say the law school has nothing to do with it.

I know who I believe.
